About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable disability support workers to support NDIS participants with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, household tasks, community access, and social engagement. You will provide one-on-one support in participants' homes and community settings while following individual support and behaviour support plans to help participants achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting clients during daily routines and accompanying them to activities and appointments.
2. Assisting clients with mobility, transfers, and movement as needed.
3. Preparing meals and helping with food preparation according to individual needs.
4. Organizing and facilitating social, recreational, and community activities.
5. Carrying out household tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning,



and maintaining a safe home setting.
6. Assisting clients with personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
7. Providing companionship, emotional support, and positive engagement with clients.
8. Running errands such as shopping and other essential tasks.
9. Providing live-in care support as required by individual client arrangements.

Skills and Experience Require:

1. Minimum 1 years’ experience in disability support, aged care, or similar community care role.
2. Knowledge of personal care, mobility assistance, and safe manual handling practices.
3. Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle physically and emotionally demanding situations.
4. Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or similar) or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
