The Opportunity

With a healthy, long-term pipeline of projects in progress/ready to go, you will be the driving force behind a business reshaping Brisbane's built environment across several integral projects.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll carry tangible influence over how the business performs, and not just how it's reported. This is a seat at the table for someone who wants to shape decision making, not just track it in the background. You'll become the trusted commercial partner across the leadership group, providing stakeholders with financial clarity that enhances operations, systems, strategy & long term goal setting.

Your Remit

- Act as commercial right-hand to operational, financial and sales leaders, to influence project profitability
- Use financial modelling/analysis to steer strategic decision-making
- Take ownership of pricing strategy, contract structuring, risk and customer agreements
- Drive & enhance budgeting,



forecasting and month-end reporting to cater to long term growth
- Build and present robust business cases to guide capital investment decisions
- Lift commercial and financial literacy across operational teams, embedding collaborative decision making
- Establish robust reporting and control standards across the business unit

What You Bring

- A commercially sharp finance professional who's outgrown a purely reporting-based remit and wants genuine ownership
- CA/CPA qualified, with a tertiary background in Finance, Commerce or similar
- Background in civil contracting, construction or infrastructure will be held in high regard
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Clear, concise communicator who can explain complex concepts in a digestible manner
- A fast trust-builder; proactive, hands-on, and comfortable being the 'face' of a critical business unit
