Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their close-knit finance team on a temporary basis to provide leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse accounting support role within a collaborative corporate head office environment.

Commencing in mid-August, this assignment will run for approximately 6–8 weeks, with a handover provided before the incumbent commences leave.

The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Processing Accounts Payable invoices through Pronto
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
- Processing monthly payroll for approximately 10–12 corporate employees
- Assisting with the review of fortnightly site payroll
- Completing bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end tasks
- Assisting with BAS and payroll tax workpapers
- Supporting month-end reporting requirements
- Providing occasional reception and general administrative support
- Assisting the wider finance team as required

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or Finance Officer
- Strong Accounts Payable and payroll processing experience
- Experience with month-end reconciliations and bookkeeping duties
- Experience using MYOB (Pronto experience is advantageous but not essential)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented team
