Business Development Manager – Rail, Civil & Mining Technology Brisbane Based | $160K Package + Dependent on Experience

Our client is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions supporting the rail, civil infrastructure, construction and mining industries across Australia.

With a strong reputation for delivering specialist solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety and productivity, the business partners with major organisations across asset-intensive industries.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and play a key role in expanding market opportunities, developing strategic relationships and driving business growth across Australia.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional who understands complex industrial environments and can engage with senior stakeholders across rail, infrastructure, construction and mining sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute business development strategies across rail, civil, construction and mining markets
- Identify and pursue recent commercial opportunities with major contractors, operators and industry stakeholders
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and handover
- Develop proposals,



presentations and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements
- Maintain strong market awareness and identify emerging industry opportunities
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities

About You:

- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within rail, mining, civil, construction or related industries
- Strong understanding of technical B2B sales environments
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience managing complex sales processes and developing new business opportunities
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercial mindset with a track record of achieving growth outcomes

Desirable Experience:

- Existing network across rail, mining, infrastructure or heavy industry sectors
- Experience selling technology, engineering solutions, equipment or specialist services
- Exposure to major projects, contractors or asset-intensive industries
