GENERAL MANAGER – EVENTS & HIRE OPERATIONS

Our business delivers some of the region’s most recognised events, including local government and council events, major sporting events, community festivals, agricultural shows, horse racing carnivals, corporate functions, weddings, private celebrations and equipment hire.

As General Manager, you will be entrusted with the complete day-to-day operation of the business. You will lead our people, drive business growth, maintain exceptional customer relationships and ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest possible standard.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable presenting to CEOs and council executives, negotiating contracts, inspecting event sites, mentoring staff, preparing quotations, organising logistics,



cleaning equipment or helping install a marquee when required.

You will lead by example and understand that no task is beneath you.

About the Role

The General Manager is responsible for a large range of aspects within the business including business development, operations, staffing, logistics, customer service, compliance and continuous improvement.

You will oversee multiple events occurring simultaneously while ensuring staff, equipment and resources are utilised efficiently and profitably.

This role requires someone who can think strategically while remaining highly operational and hands-on.
