About the role

Senior Project Engineer in Perth. Lead procurement and construction functions, manage site/project engineers and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Oversee construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, quality assurance, financial and contract management.

Mentor junior staff, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, drive collaboration across disciplines, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and champion innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

- Ensure secure, timely, budget‑constrained delivery within quality standards
- Oversee construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, quality assurance
- Handle financial and contract management
- Mentor junior staff
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Foster collaboration across disciplines and champion innovative solutions

Qualifications

- 7+ years on‑site construction delivery experience
- Proven track record on large‑scale building projects ($100M+)
- Strong programme development,



cost control and risk management skills
- Experience resolving design and coordination issues
- Leadership and effective subcontractor management experience
- Deep understanding of EHS, quality and sustainability standards
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills
- Based centrally or in the Northern/Western suburbs advantageous
