We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Design Engineer to join our team, working in a hybrid model while providing dedicated support to a high-profile enterprise client.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions aligned to performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud platforms, including provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and standardised deployment patterns
- Partner with platform users to identify bottlenecks, optimise resources, and improve efficiency
- Implement security and governance controls, ensuring best practices and enabling secure self-service capabilities
- Provide subject matter expertise across cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops, and Dev SecOps practices
- Collaborate with architecture teams and external partners to integrate emerging technologies and scalable design patterns
- Design and implement observability solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and performance insights
- Provision and manage cloud resources such as virtual machines, containers, and serverless services
- Deliver Level 2/3 support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain service performance




- Analyse monitoring and performance data to drive continuous optimisation and improvements
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure delivery meets quality, timelines, and technical standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Service Now/Infrastructure Engineer in an enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Hands‐on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar
- Solid understanding of Dev Ops and Dev SecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and/or serverless technologies
- Demonstrated ability to design and support scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions
- Robust experience in monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation
- Understanding of security, governance, and compliance controls within cloud environments
- Experience providing L2/L3 support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‐functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
- Excellent problem‐solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, AWS, or Dev Ops) are highly regarded
