Industrial Hygiene - Technical Support & Field Services Role

We are looking for a technically minded, yet practical, individual to join our team: the role is well suited to a candidate who has experience providing technical services to food processing, farming, or heavy industry. Experience working with industrial chemicals is preferable, but not essential. Likewise, some experience in account management would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated & competent operator who can support our customers in maintaining optimal hygiene in their dairy parlours & in other farming or food processing facilities.

The position requires travel around Central West NSW & Northern Victoria (approximately one week per month in the Shepparton area).

Requirements, Skills & Attributes

- Well-developed trouble-shooting & problem-solving skills

- A strong focus on customer service

- The ability to work in both solo & team-based environments

- Computer literacy

- Neat, tidy & professional presentation

- Punctual, self-motivated,



reliable and detail-oriented

- Competent with hand tools and light power tools

- Able to understand & follow written procedures

- Driver’s licence is essential

- Forklift licence desirable, but not essential

- Confined space permit desirable, but not essential

- Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Re-connect) desirable, but not essential

Main Responsibilities

- Conducting hygiene inspections of dairy farm milking machines & milk storage infrastructure

- Assisting our customers in maintaining optimal hygiene in their operations

- Servicing chemical application equipment

- Use of chemical testing systems such as titrations, colorimeters, test strips, etc

- Providing technical support to customers

- Stocktaking to assist in seamless supply of hygiene chemicals

- Responding to system alerts & troubleshooting issues

- Phone-based & remote technical backup

- Installation of chemical application equipment
