Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Occupational Therapist Contractor to join their growing team in Tweed Heads. This role offers a diverse caseload across NDIS, paediatrics, and community-based services, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the lifespan.
? About the Role
As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports
- Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations
- Deliver ongoing therapy services focused on capacity building and goal attainment
- Conduct cognitive assessments and provide appropriate recommendations
- Provide paediatric occupational therapy services within a clinic environment
- Deliver community and in-home services, including home modifications and equipment prescription
- Collaborate with clients, families, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and NDIS-compliant reports

? Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload

- Experience working within the NDIS sector
- Paediatric occupational therapy experience
- Experience with assistive technology, home modifications, and functional assessments
- Community-based therapy experience
