Field Service Technician – CNC Machinery

Perth WA | Full time, Permanent

- $90,000 base + super + $15,600 car allowance

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Field Service Technician with a background in CNC or industrial machinery?

An established global machinery business is seeking a technically capable Field Service Technician to join its Perth team. This autonomous, field-based role will see you install, service and repair advanced machinery across customer sites throughout Western Australia.

You will be supported by an experienced technical team while receiving specialist product training locally and internationally.

Your Responsibilities

- Install and commission new machinery at customer sites

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software-related faults

- Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, machine alarms and diagnostic logs

- Troubleshoot equipment and provide practical technical solutions

- Complete electronic work orders and detailed service reports

- Provide equipment training and technical guidance to customers

- Work closely with technical, spare parts and customer service teams

- Travel throughout WA, with occasional interstate travel

About You

To be considered, you will need:





- Previous field service experience working with CNC or comparable industrial machinery

- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

- Experience installing or commissioning capital equipment

- The ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

- Knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, ball screws or hydraulic systems

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- The ability to work independently and manage your schedule

- A current Australian driver’s licence

- Full permanent Australian working rights

Experience with CNC kinematics, axis alignment, spindle units, tool changers, vacuum systems, robotics or machine networking will be highly regarded.

A White Card, forklift licence, working-at-heights licence or electrical disconnect/reconnect certification would also be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

- $90,000 base salary + superannuation

- $15,600 annual car allowance
