CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team as a resident technician servicing the North Sydney region.

In this autonomous role, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of Volvo Construction Equipment, delivering exceptional service and support to customers across Sydney's northern suburbs and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Service, maintain and repair Volvo construction equipment

- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults

- Complete field service and breakdown work independently

- Utilise diagnostic software and parts catalogues

- Coordinate service bookings and liaise directly with customers

- Source parts and manage repair requirements efficiently

- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports

- Uphold high safety and quality standards at all times

What You’ll Bring:

- Qualified Heavy Diesel, Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Mechanic

- Current MR Licence (or the ability to obtain)

- Experience with construction, earthmoving or heavy equipment (Volvo CE experience highly regarded)

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills





- Proficient in using computer-based diagnostic systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities

- Able to work independently and manage your own workload

- Flexibility to travel and work additional hours when required
