Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer PHP | Laravel | React | PostgreSQL

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems end-to-end—from understanding business needs through to design, development, deployment, and production support.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across a large-scale SaaS platform, tackling everything from payment processing and large datasets to high-performance applications and complex integrations.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, test and maintain full-stack features using PHP, Laravel, React and PostgreSQL.
- Solve complex technical and business challenges across a mature SaaS platform.
- Develop modern React/TypeScript applications while supporting existing JavaScript systems.
- Write and optimise advanced SQL for large-scale, high-performance databases.
- Work on payment processing, billing and business-critical systems.
- Investigate and resolve production issues across applications, databases and Linux environments.
- Review code, mentor developers and drive engineering best practices.




- Take ownership of projects from concept through to production.

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of commercial full-stack development experience.
- Strong PHP (Laravel or Symfony) expertise.
- Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL skills.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Robust knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture and clean code principles.
- Experience with Linux and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software.

Bonus Points

- Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Payment or financial systems experience.
- Government integrations or high-volume transactional systems.
- AWS or cloud infrastructure experience.
- Experience modernising large, established applications.
