Team Leader Opportunity
We are specifically seeking an experienced and confident Team Leader (TL) to support a client in their mid-20s living with a disability affecting memory, endurance, and movement. The client is fully mobile and partially independent, requiring structured support, supervision, and encouragement to maximise quality of life.
This role is ideal for someone ready to step into leadership while remaining hands-on in direct support.
This role includes a wide variety of shift times including sleepovers.
Shifts will include a About the Role
You will:
- Provide high-quality daily support and companionship
- Facilitate social outings and community engagement
- Assist with meal preparation and domestic tasks
- Encourage rehabilitation and exercise routines
- Provide supervision, prompting, and gentle redirection
- Deliver overnight sleepover support
- Lead, mentor, and guide support staff involved in the client’s care
- Ensure care plans are implemented to a high standard
- Act as a key liaison between the client, family, and Carehero management
This is not just a support worker position, this is a leadership prospect for someone who wants to take ownership, set standards, and make a genuine impact.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Confident and proactive
- Naturally compassionate yet structured
- Experienced in high or complex care environments
- Ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership position
- Committed to excellence in care delivery
Essential Requirements:
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Working with Children’s Check
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care or Community Services (highly desirable)
- Australian Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
