ABOUT THE COMPANY. This national construction company has a proven track record of delivering multi award-winning projects valued between $1M and $20M. They specialise in high-quality fitout and refurbishment projects within the commercial construction space. From commercial office workplaces to luxury gymnasiums, high-end educational facilities, bespoke retail spaces, and more, their diverse commercial portfolio continues to expand. As a result of this ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager to take a leading role within the Estimating department and secure commercial fitout projects valued up to $30M.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, you will measure and calculate the cost of materials and work, price projects, and create tender submissions. You will receive the guidance and support needed to successfully secure projects for the company and in turn play a big part in the growth and development of the company. This position is best suited to someone looking for accelerated growth and progression in their career.

DUTIES.

- Prepare tenders, take-offs, and cost estimates
- Review supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive proposals
- Mentor junior estimators to develop budgets and cost breakdowns
- Maintain accurate project cost records and assist in bid presentations
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors,



and project managers to ensure project success

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

- Previous exposure estimating and tendering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
