Career Opportunity

Trans Traffic Survey is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician. In this role, you will conduct field surveys and tests, prepare sketches and tabulations, assist with cost estimates, and conduct traffic data collection activities to provide accurate data for transport infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

1. Conducting field surveys and operating appropriate equipment to collect accurate traffic and transport data.
2. Preparing technical drawings, charts, tables and survey documentation to support traffic and civil engineering works, including road networks, parking facilities and intersection layouts.
3. Assisting with project cost estimates and ensuring works comply with relevant specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
4.



Conducting traffic and transport surveys, including vehicle counts, parking studies, pedestrian surveys and intersection performance data collection.
5. Reviewing project requirements, selecting suitable survey methods and equipment, and collecting traffic, transport and infrastructure data.
6. Collecting, analysing and carrying out computations on traffic data, including traffic flow, travel times and intersection performance, to support engineering reports.
7. Inspecting survey sites, organising equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring accurate data collection.

What We’re Looking For

1. At least one (1) year of relevant work experience
2. Experience with traffic data collection equipment, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
3. Strong technical communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
4. High attention to detail, reliability, and professional work attitude.
5. Understanding of site safety standards and traffic management regulations.
