We have a highly cooperative and supportive team of Rural Generalists Obstetricians, Anaesthetists and Endoscopists. We have a strong focus on providing education and mentorship for Rural Generalist trainees and ongoing case based reflection and training for Senior staff. Our hospital is generously supported by a Hospital Foundation allowing us access to amazing state of the art resuscitation and ultrasound equipment. We operate a High Dependency Unit capable of stabilising and treating critically unwell patients. Innisfail is in the heart of the Wet Tropics and has unparalleled access to World Heritage rainforest and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
