Green Light has a requirement with our client partner for System Admin to join their team on assignment for 12 Months Contract with potential to extend. We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and server administration to support and maintain enterprise applications and environments, including Sitecore platforms. The role involves managing cloud-hosted infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, operating systems, deployments, environment support, and automation while ensuring platform stability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise application environments across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML-based configurations.
- Perform Windows Server and Linux (RHEL preferred) administration, including patching, upgrades, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
- Support Sitecore environments, ensuring platform availability, performance, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
- Manage Kubernetes-based containerized workloads and cloud-native services.
- Administer SSL/TLS certificates, DNS configurations, load balancers, and related infrastructure services.
- Support environment deployments, releases, change management processes, and operational maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application,



and deployment issues through root cause analysis and proactive monitoring.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Participate in deployment, patching, and on-call support rosters as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, architects, and vendors to deliver operational excellence.
- Provide status reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- EC2
- EKS
- ECS
- ECR
- Load Balancers
- DNS
- AWS CDK
- Cost Explorer

- Experience with Azure infrastructure services including:

- Virtual Machines
- Load Balancers
- DNS

DevOps & Automation

- Strong experience managing Azure DevOps Build and Release Pipelines.
- Proficiency with YAML pipeline development and maintenance.
- Experience with:
- Git
- Artifactory
- PowerShell scripting

- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Terraform
- Ansible

Server Administration

- Strong Windows Server administration experience.
- Experience supporting Linux/RHEL environments.
- Expertise in:
- OS patching and upgrades




- Capacity scaling and system optimization
- Certificate management
- Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance

Platform Support

- Experience supporting production and non-production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues.
- Experience managing deployments, releases, and environment support activities.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices, including change management and ServiceNow (SNOW).
