About Oakover Grounds
Nestled amongst vineyards and overlooking tranquil waters in the heart of the Swan Valley, Oakover Grounds is entering an exciting new chapter as part of the Uncommon Ground Group.

Home to destination dining, weddings, corporate events, celebrations and unforgettable moments, Oakover Grounds is being thoughtfully reimagined while staying true to everything people have loved about it for years.

We're looking for an exceptional Venue Manager to help lead that journey, commencing August 2026.

The Chance
This is more than a venue management role.

It's an opportunity to shape the future of one of Western Australia's most recognised hospitality venues.

As Venue Manager, you'll lead the daily operation of Oakover Grounds, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional experiences across restaurant service, weddings, events and everything in between.

You'll be equally comfortable leading a busy lunch service,



hosting a 200-guest wedding or mentoring your supervisors to become tomorrow's hospitality leaders.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves hospitality and leads from the front.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading the day-to-day operation of Oakover Grounds from Wednesday through to Sunday, both day and evening work.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the venue
- Leading, coaching and developing a passionate hospitality team
- Overseeing restaurant, bar, weddings and event operations
- Managing labour, stock, rostering and venue profitability
- Working closely with our Head Chef, Wedding & Function Manager and leadership team
- Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, compliance and service

About You
You'll bring:

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing a multi-faceted hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people
- Experience delivering weddings, events or high-volume restaurant operations
- Commercial understanding of labour, costs and venue performance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to stay calm, positive and solutions-focused under pressure
- Current Approved Manager certification.
