OAMS is seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support across our Early Years Children & Families and Yiriyirimbang Out of Home Care programs.
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about supporting services that make a positive difference for Aboriginal children, young people and families.
As the first point of contact for many clients, families and stakeholders, you will play an important role in ensuring our services remain responsive, welcoming and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support across multiple program areas.
- Manage reception duties, enquiries and central phone lines.
- Coordinate meetings, room bookings and training activities.
- Take meeting minutes and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Support fleet management, vehicle bookings and safety compliance.
- Process purchasing requests, maintain records and assist with financial reconciliations.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate ordering of resources.
- Assist with event and program coordination.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in administration, reception or customer service.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data entry,
record management and financial administration.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- A professional, respectful and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Undertake and pass a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- Complete a pre-employment wellness check (including drug and alcohol screening)
- Hold or obtain a NSW Working with Children Check

Remuneration
SCHADS Award Level 2 Pay Point 1 $36.22 per hour + superannuation
