Join the team at WorkSafe Connect
Are you someone who thrives on variety, enjoys keeping things organised, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service?
WorkSafe Connect is seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Administrator to join our Brisbane team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and wants to play an important part in helping deliver high-quality workplace safety training across Queensland.
About WorkSafe Connect
WorkSafe Connect is a Queensland-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with almost 20 years' experience delivering practical workplace safety training. We work with organisations across the resources, construction, manufacturing and government sectors, delivering training from our Brisbane and Townsville facilities, as well as onsite throughout Queensland.
Our focus is simple—Outcomes Matter. We believe training should create safer workplaces and real capability, not simply tick a compliance box.
About the Role
As our Operations Administrator, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our Brisbane training centre. You'll be the first point of contact for participants and clients while also supporting our training operations through a wide range of administrative and operational tasks.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 6:30am – 2:30pm
- Wednesday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Please note: Due to our training schedule, the start times are fixed and are an essential requirement of the role. We are, however, happy to work with the successful applicant on finish times where possible.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Participant Support
- Welcome participants and create a positive first impression
- Assist participants with accessing our online Learner Portal
- Direct participants to training rooms and answer general enquiries
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond professionally to client enquiries
- Provide information about our training courses and services
- Manage and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members
Training Administration
- Prepare and print participant course materials
- Audit completed training paperwork against internal quality checklists
- Enter participant information and results into our Student Management System
- Scan and electronically archive training records
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team
Operations & Facilities Support
- Help maintain a professional, welcoming training environment
- Occasionally use the company vehicle to collect mail and training materials
- Assist with general operational tasks that support the smooth delivery of training
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in accuracy, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
You'll be successful in this role if you:
- Have previous experience in administration and customer service
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Are confident managing multiple tasks, frequent interruptions and changing priorities throughout the day
- Have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy working accurately
- Communicate professionally both over the phone and in person
- Are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Word
- Enjoy learning new systems and processes
- Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team where everyone contributes
- Are reliable, dependable and take ownership of your work
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence (essential)
- Are over 21 years of age (required for company vehicle insurance)
The Environment
This role suits someone who enjoys a busy, structured workplace. Although the day includes regular participant enquiries, phone calls and changing priorities, the office itself is generally calm and focused. Everyone is committed to their work, so there are often quiet periods where people are concentrating on their tasks. If you enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team, you'll fit in well here.
What's on Offer
- Full-time permanent position
- Stable, established business with almost 20 years of industry experience
- Early finish each afternoon, supporting work-life balance
- Supportive and friendly team setting
- Interesting and varied work across customer service, administration and operations
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Convenient Salisbury location with onsite parking and excellent public transport access
- The opportunity to make a genuine contribution to improving workplace safety across Queensland
