As the Perth-based Human Resource Business Partner, you'll become the trusted HR advisor for leaders across Australia, influencing people outcomes, managing complex employee matters and helping shape a proactive business partnering culture.
Description
Reporting into the People team, you'll be the primary HR presence in Perth, partnering with leaders across the Australian business and supporting a diverse workforce spanning both blue and white-collar employee groups. You'll play a key role in providing practical HR advice, managing complex employee matters and helping leaders build capability through coaching and partnership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct, performance management and workplace complaints
- Conducting workplace investigations and preparing investigation reports
- Facilitating mediation and conflict resolution processes
- Coaching managers on people-related challenges and best practice approaches
- Building trusted relationships with assigned business leaders through regular partnering meetings
- Supporting succession planning and workforce discussions
- Delivering leadership and professional development training programs
- Coordinating and supporting the organisation's graduate program
- Contributing to organisational change initiatives and people projects
- Partnering with stakeholders across Australia and the broader global HR function
Profile
This role is best suited to a HR professional who can hit the ground running, confidently manage complex employee relations matters and quickly establish themselves as a trusted advisor to leaders.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong employee relations and workplace investigations experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and sensitive employee matters
- Experience preparing investigation findings and recommendations
- Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar workforces
- Exceptional stakeholder management and coaching capabilities
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader HR team
- Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, mining services, resources or related operational environments will be highly regarded.
