Fire West is looking for a motivated and reliable Tag and Test/Equipment Inspection Technician to join our growing team. This is a FIFO Role ex Perth to the Goldfields and surrounding areas.

This role involves carrying out the inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment (Test & Tag), lifting equipment and portable fire equipment across commercial, industrial and mining sites. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and company procedures.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting in-service safety testing and tagging of electrical equipment.

- Conduct routine inspection of lifting equipment

- Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels

- Identifying and reporting damaged or non-compliant equipment.

- Maintaining accurate testing records and compliance documentation.

- Providing skilled service to customers across a variety of work sites.

- Working safely and in accordance with Australian Standards and company procedures.

- FIFO ex Perth or suitable to resident of Kalgoorlie.

Essential Requirements

- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).





- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.

- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Construction White Card.

Desirable Qualifications

- UEERL0003 - Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies

- CPPFES2010 – Inspect and test fire hose reels

- CPPFES2020 – Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire extinguishers and fire blankets
