Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Rochford Wines is one of Victoria's leading wedding and events destinations, hosting spectacular weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, award-winning dining experiences and iconic concerts.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Wedding & Events Sales Executive to join our growing team.
This is much more than a sales role.
You'll guide couples from their very first enquiry through to their wedding day, building lasting relationships and creating experiences they'll remember forever.
What You'll Be Doing
Your primary focus will be growing our wedding business by:
- Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Conducting venue inspections every weekend.
- Preparing proposals and contracts.
- Building relationships with couples throughout their planning journey.
- Managing your own portfolio of weddings from enquiry through to successful event delivery.
You'll also support corporate and social event enquiries during busy periods, giving you exposure to a diverse range of events throughout the year.
As part of the Rochford team, you'll also roll up your sleeves when required—whether that's hosting team-building experiences, supporting our restaurants during major events, or assisting with large-scale venue activations.
No two days are the same.
About You
You're someone who genuinely enjoys working with people.
You love building relationships, are confident presenting beautiful venues, and get genuine satisfaction from helping clients create memorable experiences.
You'll bring:
- Experience in hospitality, events or sales.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Confidence conducting venue inspections.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A proactive approach and positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for weddings and hospitality.
- Flexibility to work weekends (essential).
Previous wedding or venue sales experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right person.
