Job Title: Mechanical Fitter - day shift | Permanent, full-time
Shifts: Day Shift | 7:00am – 3:30pm | Monday - Friday
Salary: $48 per hour + allowances + ACIRT + overtime

About the role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and process machinery used in production facilities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and be part of a global company known for innovation, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unplanned breakdown repairs
- Install, align, and commission machinery and mechanical components (e.g. rollers, pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment)




- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective action to minimize downtime

Qualifications and Skills

- Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Cert III or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
