The Role
As a Marketing and Content Coordinator, you will support executing integrated marketing strategies and create engaging content across various digital platforms that reflects Maxima's strong community impact.
You Will:
- Develop, prioritise, implement and review marketing and communications activities that support the organisation’s objectives and strategic priorities.
- Support the delivery of Maxima’s marketing initiatives with a sound understanding of service offerings, target audiences, business priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar across all social media platforms to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
- Plan, create and publish engaging social media content across multiple channels.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to messages and enquiries in a timely manner.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns (EDMs), including audience list management.
- Research and write compelling case studies, success stories and content that showcases Maxima’s impact and community engagement.
- Support the ongoing promotion and consistency of the Maxima brand across all communications and marketing materials.
- Liaise with suppliers and external vendors regarding branded merchandise, print production and promotional materials.
- Support public relations initiatives including media releases, community engagement activities and promotional opportunities.
- Contribute to internal communications including newsletters, announcements and scheduled updates that support engagement and workplace culture
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of local and national events, including logistics, venue management, suppliers, signage, promotional materials and attendee communications.
- Attend events as required to support event delivery, photography and content capture.
About You
You are passionate about bringing marketing strategies to life and have a genuine interest in working with a strong community focused organisation.
You have:
- Formal qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns and communication initiatives across digital platforms
- Strong social media content creations and digital engagement skills
- Experience creating written, visual and video content for a variety of audience and platforms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Mailchimp
- A proactive, creative and adaptable approach to work
- Current driver’s licence
- Current National Criminal History Record (National Police Clearance)
- Current Working with Children Check
