To be successful for this role you will have:
- Experience in cost estimation, tender development, construction, trade or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, workplace health and safety requirements and industry regulations, together with a current driver's license.
The Estimator plays a vital role in the preparation and development of accurate cost estimates, tender submissions and project specifications to support successful project delivery. Working across a variety of maintenance and construction projects, you will analyse project requirements, interpret technical documentation and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant submissions.
Working closely with project managers, clients and operational teams, the position identifies cost efficiencies, assesses project risks and ensures estimates align with organisational objectives, industry standards and client expectations.
