This well-known utility company is currently on the lookout for an experienced Oracle Database Developer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimising, and supporting enterprise Oracle database solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions including tables, views, sequences, indexes, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Develop high-quality SQL and PL/SQL code to support enterprise applications and business processes.
- Analyse and optimise database performance through execution plan analysis, query tuning, indexing strategies, and performance troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, XML, and Oracle middleware technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing,



deployment activities, and production support.

Requirements:

- Strong commercial experience as an Oracle Developer in enterprise environments.
- Advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Extensive experience developing:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Packages
- Triggers
- Views
- Sequences
- Indexes

- Robust understanding of database design, data modelling, schema management, and data integrity principles.
- Demonstrated experience tuning complex SQL and PL/SQL code using execution plans and performance optimisation techniques.
- Experience supporting database migration and modernisation projects.
