Reporting to the Merchandise and Promotions Manager this is a rare prospect to secure a Category management role based in Western Australia within the fun, fast-paced and highly competitive liquor industry.
You will be part of a high performing team with a supportive culture. Within the industry you will forge strong relationships with suppliers, winemaker's and other key stakeholders in the world of wine.
Responsiblities:
- Bi-annual wine category range reviews
- Category analaysis
- Ownership of supplier relationships across the wine category
- Creation of promotional programs
- Negotiating trading terms
- Presenting wine insights and updates
- Ownership of promotional programs
- Negotiating and executing consolidated orders
- Liaising with wholesalers
This is a rare and exciting opportunity where the following skills and experience will be highly recognised and rewarded:
- Substantial experience in wine - WSET training is highly regarded
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with a focus on analysis , forecasting and financial modelling
- Strong time management skills
- Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Ideally 2+ yeas experience in a similar role
