About the role

Are you looking for a dynamic role where no two days are the same? Australian Clinical Labs is seeking a versatile and motivated Pathology Collector Relievers to join our team on a part-time, permanent or fixed-term basis.

In this role, you will be the ultimate problem-solver, covering staff absences across our clinical networks. You will go somewhere different every day, traveling across our North, South, East, or Central Perth collection sites to maintain our high standard of patient care. You will get a daily travel allowance.

Specific duties include:

- Perform venepuncture and capillary blood collections safely on diverse patient demographics.

- Collect non-blood specimens

- Travel daily to assigned collection clinics, adjusting quickly to different site layouts and team dynamics.

- Ensure exact patient identification and label specimens accurately to ensure pre-analytical standards.

- Provide empathetic care to reassure anxious patients and deliver a seamless clinical experience.

Skills and experience:

- Qualification: Certificate III in Pathology Collection (HLT37215) or an equivalent nursing/medical qualification.

- Experience: Demonstrated on-the-job phlebotomy experience.

- Mobility: A valid Australian driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

- Adaptability: Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude toward working in a different location each day.
