We're working exclusively with an established international consultancy to find a Senior Health Architect (Associate) for their Brisbane studio. You'll join a genuinely global team with a solid local pipeline of health work, and step straight into one of the more meaningful briefs on the market right now.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is a large-scale mental health facility, delivered in association with Queensland Health. You'll be involved from concept through to schematic design, working alongside clinicians, planners and QLD Health stakeholders to shape a facility that puts patient wellbeing and staff experience at the centre of the design.

It's technically demanding, genuinely rewarding, and the kind of project you'll still be talking about a decade from now.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Leading design development from concept through schematic design
• Working closely with QLD Health and project stakeholders to translate clinical and operational needs into design outcomes
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary consultant teams to keep the design coherent and buildable
• Applying health facility design guidelines and best-practice mental health design principles
• Producing and reviewing documentation, reports and design deliverables to a senior standard




• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the design team

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Registered Architect (or eligible for registration in Queensland) or plenty of local experience running these types of projects for major competitors
• Proven experience delivering health projects, ideally concept through to completion
• Experience with mental health or complex clinical facilities highly regarded
• Confidence engaging directly with government and health sector clients
• Strong technical documentation skills and an eye for detail
• A collaborative, can-do approach and genuine enthusiasm for health design
