We are recruiting qualified Motorcycle Mechanics for multiple established motorcycle dealerships located in Moorooka, Brisbane.
These are full-time opportunities for experienced technicians who enjoy working in a professional dealership environment and take pride in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
The successful candidates will work with a broad range of motorcycles, including road, sports, touring and off-road models. Depending on the dealership and the candidate’s experience, there may also be opportunities to work with power equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Complete engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical repairs
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks
- Accurately identify required parts and additional repair work
- Complete workshop documentation and job cards
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Communicate repair findings clearly to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Support apprentices and other workshop team members when required
Skills and experience
To be considered, you should have:
- A relevant Australian-recognised motorcycle mechanical qualification
- Previous experience servicing and repairing motorcycles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working in a motorcycle dealership or professional workshop
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Valuable communication and time-management skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Australian working rights
Previous manufacturer-specific training or dealership experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
