Position: Full-Time Childcare Educator

Balls Paddock Childcare Centre are seeking a FULL-TIME experienced, and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our friendly and professional team. Balls Paddock is a welcoming 43-place early learning centre in Woonona, providing high-quality education and care for children aged 2–5 years. About the Role

As a valued member of our team, you will:

- Provide a child safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.

- Plan and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

- Observe, document, and extend children's learning and development.

- Contribute to the ongoing implementation of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

- Support our Strategic Improvement Plan (SIP) and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), promoting inclusive and culturally responsive practices.

- Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, child wellbeing, and professional practice.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).





- Certificate of Completion – Foundations of Child Protection Training.

- Current Child Protection Certificate/Training with a demonstrated understanding of mandatory reporting obligations and responding appropriately to child protection concerns.

- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Child Safe Standards and a commitment to creating and maintaining a child-safe environment.

- Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.

- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, National Law, and Regulations.

- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.

- Experience contributing to Quality Improvement Plans (QIP), Strategic Improvement Plans (SIP), and Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP).

- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development.
