We're partnering with an international organisation investing heavily in AI adoption and data capability across multiple business units. They're looking for a Senior AI & Data Engineer to help bridge the gap between modern data platforms, machine learning and real commercial outcomes for one of their major divisions.

Working with stakeholders across Australia and overseas, you'll help shape AI initiatives, unlock value from complex data assets and build scalable solutions that move beyond proof-of-concepts into production.

This is a role for someone equally comfortable discussing business challenges with executives as they are building cloud-native data and AI solutions.

Salary: $155k-$160k + Super + Bonus
Location: Sydney CBD | 3 days/week in office

N.B. You must be Citizen, PR or a natural pathway to PR in order to be successful for this role.

What you'll do

- Design and deliver scalable AI and advanced analytics solutions that solve real business problems.
- Build and optimise cloud-based data pipelines that power machine learning and AI initiatives.
- Partner with international business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and AI can create measurable value.
- Develop, deploy and monitor production-ready machine learning solutions.
- Work across up-to-date cloud platforms to improve data accessibility, quality and governance.
- Collaborate with Engineering,



Analytics and Business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of AI by helping business teams understand and leverage their data more effectively.

What you'll bring

- Strong commercial experience across Data Engineering, Machine Learning or Applied AI.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Experience building modern cloud data platforms using technologies such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt or Airflow.
- Experience deploying ML models into production rather than simply developing them.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working across multiple business units or international stakeholders is highly regarded.
