This Risk and Compliance Advisor position is based in Brisbane, Queensland, within the banking, finance and accounting sector. The role focuses on supporting end-to-end (E2E) user acceptance testing (UAT) and broader risk and compliance activities across key financial processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the assessment of operational, regulatory and compliance risks, ensuring that business processes, systems and reporting align with internal policies and external obligations. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, this role will assist in identifying control gaps, reviewing remediation activities and supporting structured testing outcomes. The position is suited to a candidate with a Master-level education who is seeking to apply analytical capability in a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities

- Support end-to-end user acceptance testing activities by coordinating test cases, documenting outcomes and assisting stakeholders with defect tracking processes.
- Contribute to risk assessments across banking, finance and accounting processes by gathering evidence, preparing documentation and supporting review activities.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements by compiling information, reports and supporting materials for review.
- Work with business and technology teams to identify control gaps and support remediation activities by providing structured testing and documentation support.
- Prepare explicit records, summaries and reports related to UAT, risk assessments and compliance reviews to support internal governance requirements.

- Ability to follow structured testing procedures carefully and document user acceptance testing results with a high level of accuracy and clarity.




- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and operational information and support the identification of risk and compliance issues.
- Effective written communication skills to prepare concise testing documentation, risk summaries and compliance-related reports for stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including business and technology teams, to support coordinated risk and compliance activities.
- Sound organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, testing activities and documentation requirements within agreed timeframes and priorities.
