About The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a passionate and progressive Community Experience Leader to lead and inspire the Ngutungka West Lakes Team. Overseeing the Library Community Experience and day to day operations at the combined Library Community Centre, there may also be opportunities to work across our Community Experience teams and/or facilities.

With a key focus on the customer experience, this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day activities and operations of the Findon and Henley Beach branches. You will actively engage with the community to ensure the planning of Ngutungka Henley Beach to deliver services and activities that are reflective of its specific place and people.

In partnership with other Team Leaders, you will collaboratively lead the development, deployment and performance of the Community Experience team to deliver on Community Connections strategic priorities.

About You:

- Proven leadership experience in a service delivery setting, ideally across multi-site or community-facing services.
- Strong people leadership capability, enabling consistent, responsive and high-quality customer experiences.
- A genuine commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values people, diversity and wellbeing, and supports individuals and teams to thrive.
- A track record of improving services, systems or operating models, with the ability to turn strategy into practical outcomes.
- The ability to use data, feedback and insight to inform decisions,



identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Well-developed relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and build trust with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience managing planning, budgets, reporting and operational priorities, while maintaining a focus on community outcomes.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Library and Information Management, Customer Experience, Business, Public Administration, Community Development or a related field, and/or commensurate demonstrated experience in lieu of formal qualifications.

About Our Team:

The Charles Sturt Libraries team delivers responsive, customer-focused library services across five libraries, including two community hubs, mobile library and outreach services. The Community Experience team works alongside the broader library team to create inclusive, welcoming and accessible services that support community connection, learning and participation across the City.

The Detail:

This position is offered as a full-time, permanent basis and is classified at Level 5, with a salary of $103,798 to $108,265 per annum + superannuation, annual leave loading.

A current unprohibited Working with Children Check must be maintained for the duration of the employment period in this prescribed position.
