Aglime of Australia, a wholly-owned business of Summit Rural WA, is the leading supplier of limesand to the broadacre agricultural region of Western Australia. Our team is dedicated to supporting agricultural production by providing the means to remove soil acidification as a yield constraint to ensure the maximum benefit from farm soil water storage, nutrition and other inputs. About the role

We are seeking a Mining & Tenement Compliance Manager to join our team, base primarily at our Belmont office. The role is envisaged as full-time basis. However, part-time consideration may be agreed providing obligations and outcomes can be met. This is a strategic position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring that all mining operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations and company policies. The Mining & Tenement Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in protecting our operating licence, maintaining our reputation and minimising operational and legal risks. You will be instrumental in embedding a strong compliance culture across our mining operations and will report to senior management on compliance performance and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

1. Developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive compliance frameworks and policies specific to mining operations

2.



Monitoring and auditing mining activities to ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state and local regulations, including mining codes, environmental laws and safety standards

3. Ensuring compliance with all tenement conditions to maintain the status of operating and undeveloped tenements

4. Supporting development of tenements into production as required and work toward closure and relinquishment once mining operations cease

5. Preparing and submitting regulatory reports, permits and documentation to relevant authorities

6. Liaising directly with external regulators, government agencies, consultants and third-party auditors

7. Engaging and communicating with community and other stakeholders

8. Providing compliance guidance to operational contractors and management

9. Maintaining detailed compliance records, documentation and audit trails

10. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance compliance performance

11. Integrating Aglime-specific management system aspects into the broader Summit Rural WA compliance framework.

What we're looking for

1. Tertiary qualification related to mining operations, management, environmental science, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional and administration experience

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a compliance management role within the mining or resources sector

3. In-depth knowledge of Western Australian and Australian mining regulations,



including the Mining Act 1978 and associated regulations

4. Strong understanding of environmental compliance, health and safety requirements and industry standards

5. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures

6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with regulators and internal teams

7. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance obligations simultaneously

8. Experience working with government agencies and managing regulatory relationships is advantageous
