This role is based in Burleigh Heads, working with our in-house team.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our supply chain, inventory, logistics and shipping operations, ensuring stock is planned, tracked and delivered efficiently while continuously identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes. You will act as a key link between our Operations and Finance teams, supporting the business with data-driven insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Operations & Supply Chain Management

- Inventory analysis and stock rotation tracking

- Replenishment planning based on sales velocity and lead times

- Purchase planning and supplier coordination

- Tracking the development of new products, from supplier sampling through to final production

- Container and inbound shipment tracking





- Supplier relationship management

- Stock ageing analysis and slow-moving stock identification

- Lead time risk monitoring

Logistics & Cost Optimisation

- Shipping cost analysis and allocation

- Identification and resolution of cost discrepancies (e.g. weight, carrier fees)

- Ongoing optimisation of logistics costs

- Operational coordination with carriers (e.g. Australia Post, Aramex)

Strategic & Leadership Contribution

- Acting as a key link between Finance and Operations

- Supporting business decisions with operational insights

- Ownership of operational efficiency

- Driving profitability through data-led decision-making

- Providing recommendations on purchasing, pricing, and inventory strategy

- Business performance recommendations

Experience Requirements

- Proven experience in an Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management role, ideally within e-commerce or retail.

- Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment planning, and supplier coordination.

- Experience working with freight carriers and resolving shipping/logistics cost discrepancies.

- Comfortable analysing data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.

- Solid communication skills, with the ability to liaise between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

- A proactive, hands-on approach - happy to get involved from the ground up in a growing business.

- Experience with tools such as Shopify, Google Sheets/Excel is a plus.
