? WHS & Corporate Services Coordinator – Help Us Keep Our People Safe, Supported and Connected

Ready to bring your organisation, care and practical problem-solving skills to a purpose-led team?

At Nature Advisory, our Corporate Services team plays a key role in keeping our people safe, our office running smoothly, and our teams well supported. We’re looking for a warm, proactive and highly organised WHS & Corporate Services Coordinator to join our Alphington based team and help create a safe, welcoming and efficient workplace.

? About the role

This lynchpin role to our organisation is varied and people-focused, with responsibility for coordinating Work Health and Safety across Nature Advisory while also supporting office operations, facilities, events, Directors, and our People & Culture function.

You’ll coordinate WHS processes, develop and lead safety training, safety communication and committee activities, coordinate workplace incident management and maintain systems that keep our people informed and protected.

You’ll also be a key point of support for our Corporate Services and People & Culture activities — from coordinating travel, events and office facilities through to supporting recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and administrative tasks for Directors and the Board.

? What you’ll do

- Coordinate Work Health and Safety – Ensure the implementation of WHS procedures, develop and deliver safety training, maintain SWMS, assist with audits and reporting, the identification of workplace risks and controls and register maintenance.

- Support WHS governance – Coordinate WHS Committee meetings, prepare minutes, identify actions and follow up on implementation.

- WHS champion - Oversee the implementation and management of WHS policy, procedures and programs, deliver consistent and comprehensive WHS communications and promote a safe work environment across Nature Advisory training.

- Keep the office running smoothly – Support day-to-day office operations including reception duties (which means this is a largely on-site based role), facilities, building maintenance, amenities, mail, couriers, uniforms, keys, office supplies and general office tidiness.

- Coordinate travel and events – Help organise vehicle bookings, flights, accommodation, Townhalls, year-end events and social activities.

- Support People & Culture – Assist with recruitment administration, candidate management, reference checking, training bookings, onboarding, induction coordination and HRIS support.

- Provide corporate services support – Assist Directors and the Board with administration, reporting, risk register maintenance and other support activities as required.

? What we’re looking for

- A warm, calm and professional people-focused team player with initiative and a can-do attitude, who enjoys problem solving.

- A highly organised, practical and proactive approach to keeping people, systems and workplaces supported.

- Solid administration and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on details.

- Clear, friendly and respectful written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across teams and with a range of internal stakeholders.

- An interest in workplace health and safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

- Sound judgement, discretion and care when handling people-related or sensitive information.

- A collaborative approach, positive mindset and a genuine commitment to contributing to a respectful, inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

✨ Bonus points if you have

- Previous experience in WHS coordination, office coordination, corporate services or HR administration.

- Experience supporting committees, taking minutes and following up actions.

- Experience coordinating workplace training, events, recruitment administration or onboarding.

- Undergraduate degree in Business or Work Health & Safety/Health, Safety & Environment

- Being part of something shared – Nature Advisory is an employee-owned organisation with a flexible, pet-friendly, relaxed and highly team-oriented culture.
