About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to improve access and care to multidisciplinary mental health and alcohol and other drugs treatment for young people aged 12-25. The role intends to improve integration between headspace centres and tertiary mental health services throughout the Metro North Mental Health (MNMH) catchment by providing consultation, clinical advice, on-site specialist care and treatment, and supporting coordinated and streamlined transition of adolescents and young adults between headspace and MNMH / CHQ mental health services.

This is your opportunity to provide essential administrative support, be the first point of contact for consumers and cares, and help ensure the smooth operation of our team.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Provide effective administrative support and service that contributes to the operations of the immediate work team and organisation. General administration duties including, but not limited to, word processing, data entry, report preparation, correspondence management and filing.
- Maintain competence in the use of information systems used within the Mental Health Service (and additional systems as required). Major systems currently used include the Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), the Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA), Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM) and Integrated electronic medical record (ieMR).
- Develop and maintain systems which enhance effective and efficient administrative support services of hCIT,



ensuring day to day operational requirements of service delivery are achieved.
- Complete and manage data entry and maintenance of information systems used by Mental Health Services including HBCIS, CIMHA, SharePoint and ESM.
- Support clinical staff by organising client appointments, clinical meetings such as Intake and Review meetings, and registering and updating accurate information contained in relevant clinical information systems.
