Ausgroup Industrial Services (AGIS) is seeking experienced and motivated Scaffolding Supervisors to join our growing operations across Queensland.
We currently have opportunities available in both:
- Mackay Port Operations – Local full-time positions with excellent work/life balance.
- Field Service Operations – Ad hoc and project-based supervision roles supporting shutdowns, maintenance and client projects across various sites.

Our workforce includes Scaffolders, Riggers, Boilermakers, Welders, Industrial Painters, Abrasive Blasters, Trade Assistants, Industrial Cleaners and Supervisors who support clients throughout Queensland.
The Role
As a Scaffolding Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading crews, maintaining safety standards and ensuring quality project delivery across a range of industrial environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating scaffolding crews
- Conducting pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
- Promoting a positive safety culture
- Planning daily and weekly work activities
- Managing labour resources and productivity
- Monitoring project progress and deliverables
- Building strong client relationships
- Mentoring and developing team members
- Ensuring compliance with site and company procedures
- Maintaining accurate reporting and project documentation
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

This role is ideal for supervisors who enjoy variety, travelling to different sites and working across a broad range of projects.
About You
To be successful you will demonstrate:
- Previous supervisory or leading hand experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience within mining, construction, heavy industry, maintenance or offshore environments
- A commitment to safety leadership
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with workforce coordination and project delivery
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Competency using Microsoft Office applications
Previous scaffolding experience is highly regarded; however, solid leaders from similar industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

- Current Driver's Licence
- High Risk work Licence - Scaffold
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights
- MSIC Card (or ability to obtain)
- Current Australian Working Rights
