About the role

Reitsma is looking for a highly capable Site Foreman who is equally qualified and driven as a Site EHS Coordinator

This is a site based role on a upcoming project in Western Sydney, where you will be the ultimate authority on the ground for EHS matters while also assisting that the project is delivered on time, to standard, and most importantly, safely.

Your Role & Responsibilities: Wearing two highly critical hats, you will manage both the operational drive and the risk management of the site.

- Site Operations: Help Coordinate daily site activities, manage trades, oversee project scheduling, and drive site QA/QC to ensure all work meets project specifications.

- Safety Leadership: Act as the primary EHS manager, driving a strong,



proactive "safety first" culture among all staff and contractors.

- Compliance: Manage all site-specific safety documentation, including SWMS reviews, daily pre-starts, toolboxes, site inductions, reporting and hazard identification.

- Incident Management: Lead the investigation and reporting of any site incidents or near-misses, implementing corrective actions immediately.

- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between operations and safety, communicating effectively with site workers, project managers, and the executive team.

About You

To succeed in this demanding but rewarding role, you will need a strong background in site supervision backed by formal safety qualifications.

- Demonstrated experience as a Site Foreman, Supervisor, or Site Manager in [Industry, e.g., Commercial Construction / Civil].

- Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety (e.g., Cert IV or Diploma) preferred.

- Deep understanding of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.

- A firm but fair leadership style—you know how to drive a construction schedule without ever cutting corners on safety.

- Highly organized, able to balance the fast pace of site management with the meticulous documentation required for EHS compliance.

- Experience in software packages such as Google Workspace, MS project and MS office

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
