About the role

We're looking for an experienced Business Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our office and support our Managing Director across financial, compliance, HR and operational matters. It's a diverse, all-encompassing role suited to someone who enjoys being the person who keeps everything running smoothly — and who's happy juggling a spreadsheet, a compliance register and a courier booking in the same afternoon.

What you'll be doing

- Finance: budgeting, payroll, BAS/IAS lodgements, invoice and bank reconciliations, financial reporting

- Compliance: maintaining breach and conflict-of-interest registers, supporting regulatory obligations

- People: end-to-end recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records, HR policy administration

- Operations: IT liaison, office administration, insurance renewals, supplier and building management

What you'll bring

- 5+ years' experience in business administration, operations or office management, preferably in the financial services sector

· Diploma or degree in business administration, accounting or related field (preferred).

- Confidence working with financial data — bookkeeping or BAS Agent experience is a plus

- Comfort with Xero (or similar) and the MS Office suite

- Discretion, attention to detail, and a genuine enjoyment of variety in your day
