About the Role
As a Data Centre Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and critical infrastructure assets. The role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to operate confidently within a technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control site access for staff, contractors, and visitors
- Conduct security patrols and inspections
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Operate CCTV, access control, and security management systems
- Maintain accurate incident and activity reports
- Liaise with site stakeholders, contractors, and emergency services
- Support compliance with site security policies and procedures
- Work effectively within a highly secure and operationally critical environment

Essential Requirements





- Current NSW Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Australian Citizen (compulsory)
- NV1 Clearance (Must Have!!)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Sound computer and technical aptitude
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Professional presentation and customer service skills

Desirable

- Experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, or control room environments
- Experience using electronic security systems and access control platforms
- Technical understanding of IT or facility operations environments
