Armesto's Transport is a large privately owned and operated family business based at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast.

We seek to appoint a dynamic and experienced PM Operations Manager to join our business.

You will be responsible for the coordination and management of a large fleet of interstate linehaul B doubles that travel east coast of Australia afterhours.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with customers as to their freight requirements and delivery requests.

- Coordinate repairs and break downs.

- Monitor drivers and monitor fatigue road safety and compliance and delivery deadlines.

- Using GPS to allocate and monitor the drivers for NHVR compliance and ETAs.

- Using Seeing Machine Technology to monitor driver fatigue and distraction.

- Supervise staff and identify issues and problems and address them.

- Completing admin duties encompassing this role.

- Working with the operations team to ensure smooth day to day running of the business.

- This role involves weekend work 4 on 4 off roster 6pm to 6am.

Suitable applicants must have

- Extensive experience in the transport industry.

- Sound Mechanical knowledge





- Previous experience of supervision of minimum 150 prime movers and 130 staff.

- Sound knowledge of transport rules and regulations.

- Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation (Schedulers)

- Excellent phone manner.

- Be proficient in use of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.

- Knowledge of load restraint and freight loading.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Honesty and Integrity

- The ability to work in a fast paced environment independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills.

- The ability to lead and take charge in difficult situations.

- Punctuality and professionalism

- Vast geographical knowledge of the East Coast Of Australia.
