Analytical Scientist - Immunoassay
? Based in Adelaide, SA | ? Australia’s leading bioanalytical lab
Join a team driving innovation in drug development.
About Us
Agilex Biolabs is Australia’s largest and most advanced regulated bioanalytical laboratory, supporting drug development from early discovery through to clinical trials. With 30 years of proven excellence, we’re trusted globally for our speed, scale, and scientific integrity. We support both small and large molecule development and are now expanding into the cell & gene therapy space.
With state-of-the-art technology, FDA-inspected labs, and globally recognised accreditations (OECD GLP, NATA, ISO 17025), our work underpins critical research programs across the APAC region, North America, and Europe.
The Opportunity
An exciting prospect has become available for a motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Analytical Scientist (Graduate Entry Level) to join the Immunoassay (IA) team at Agilex Biolabs on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our Immunoassay team focus on science in ligand-binding assays, which are molecularly targeted therapies. These are the foundation of precision medicine and are the focus of many exciting drug developments. Many therapeutic indications for chemical and biological therapeutics involve interactions of a ligand, chemical drug, protein or antibody with its target. Ligand binding immunoassays harness this power and typically use target, antibodies (commercially available or anti-idiotype) or drug product to build a sandwich immunoassay for quantitation of the analyte of interest.
At Agilex Biolabs, our Scientists have extensive experience in a broad range of ligand binding assays, employing various formats and chemistries, including Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA),
Electrochemiluminescent immunoassays (ECLIA), and the Gyrolab automated assay platform.
