We have a great opportunity for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a well-established mechanical workshop. This is a permanent workshop-based role offering consistent Monday to Friday hours and varied hands-on fitting, machining and repair work.

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Limited overtime available

THE ROLE:
- Mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls
- Rebuild and repair mechanical components and assemblies
- Manual lathe machining
- Dynamic balancing of rotating components
- Welding and general fabrication
- Inspection and fault finding of mechanical components
- Maintain high quality and safety standards
ABOUT YOU:
- Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist
- Strong mechanical fitting and machining experience
- Confident operating manual lathes
- Welding experience
- Experience with rotating equipment or mechanical repairs highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
