PLY SUPPLY is seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson/Delivery Driver to join our team in Canning Vale, WA. This is a part-time position that combines warehouse operations with delivery responsibilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders efficiently whilst maintaining our warehouse standards. This position offers variety in daily tasks and the opportunity to work both within our facility and out on the road, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods in the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently according to delivery schedules
- Loading delivery vehicles safely and ensuring items are properly secured for transport
- Delivering products to customers in a professional and timely manner
- Obtaining customer signatures and payment as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and storage areas
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and competently
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies to management promptly
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory management procedures
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Storeperson,
Warehouse Operative or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver's licence (essential) with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory control software is advantageous
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (licences or willingness to obtain training preferred)
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and inventory
- Physical fitness and capability to lift and handle heavy items regularly
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Customer service experience is desirable
