About the role

South Burnett Care is seeking a professional and customer-focused Administration Officer to join our energetic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on providing outstanding customer service, and takes pride in ensuring administrative processes run efficiently and accurately.

As a key member of our Executive Services team, you will be the first point of contact for many clients, staff, visitors and stakeholders, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Reception

- Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors and stakeholders.

- Answer and direct telephone enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

- Manage reception and general enquiries.

- Receive, record and distribute messages accurately.

Administrative Support





- Deliver high-quality administrative support across multiple business units.

- Manage incoming communications, correspondence, emails and mail distribution.

- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems and organisational records.

- Support document preparation, data entry and reporting activities.

- Assist with the administration of organisational systems and processes.

Operational Support

- Work collaboratively with operational and corporate teams to support service delivery.

- Assist with roster administration and scheduling activities as required.

- Process over-the-counter payments, receipting and banking.

- Manage office supplies, stationery and stock levels.

- Coordinate couriers, postage and deliveries.

- Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming office environment.

Continuous Improvement

- Contribute to improving administrative processes and systems.

- Support the organisation's commitment to quality, compliance and innovation.

- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist across various teams as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work independently.

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

- Confidence learning and working with digital systems and technology.

- A positive, professional and team-oriented approach.

- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

- A willingness to embrace change and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

- Current Queensland Driver Licence.

- Ability to obtain and maintain:

- National Police Check

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

- Evidence of immunisations as required under applicable aged care and disability sector requirements.
