Position Overview

- Workload: Full time, Part-Time, and Casual
- Pay: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Employment Basis: Permanent and Casual
- Facility: Long Day Care Centre (operates between 7am and 6pm)
- Commencement: Immediate and Flexible
The Role
Are you a passionate and caring early childhood professional looking to make a meaningful impact? St Andrews Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre team in a permanent full-time or part-time capacity.
As an Educator, you will work collaboratively with the Teacher/Lead Educator to create a stimulating, secure, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. You will actively support the spiritual, emotional, and educational growth of each child, while fostering strong relationships with families and the wider community. You may assist with implementing an inclusive program across multiple rooms. This position will operate as a float and lunch relief role, providing adaptable support across multiple rooms and age groups within the Early Learning Centre while contributing to inclusive, high-quality educational programs.
Selection Criteria
You will bring:
- Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College, with the ability to support its mission and contribute positively to its community life.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child-centred developmental practice.
- A Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care (equivalent or higher).
- Experience working in early childhood settings
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and flexibility to work across multiple rooms.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture and adapt to the needs of the College.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
