Role overview

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to scale out our backend processes to enhance our onboarding experience for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who is solid in Node.js, and experienced enough with a compiled language such as Go, .NET, or Java.

You’ll work on backend services and integrations. We’re looking for someone who is detail orientated and can build reliable systems.

What you’ll do

- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and compiled languages.

- Work with customer systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.

- Develop integrations with external systems, including ERP, finance, resourcing, and calendar platforms.

- Debug backend and data issues across services and databases.

- Improve engineering standards around testing, code quality, documentation, and maintainability.





What we’re looking for

- Strong professional experience as a backend engineer, ideally in a senior or technical leadership role.

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and compiled languages in production environments.

- Experience designing and consuming APIs, including REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Experience building reliable backend systems that handle real customer data.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
